We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Server Assistant to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and customer service, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and well-attended. They will maintain an efficient and organized restaurant through managing guest flow, maximizing seating capacity, and communicating effectively with all employees. Hosts are expected to leave a lasting impression on all guests through their professionalism and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and guide them to their tables.
• Effectively manage guest flow to maximize seating capacity
• Communicate with Servers, Bartenders and Managers to maintain proper guest flow throughout the restaurant
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.
• Accurately take reservations and modify guest status in Open Table
• Know all table numbers and maintain awareness of which servers are in each section
• Uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, providing excellent customer service at all times.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is preferred.
• Strong communication skills are necessary for effective guest interaction and teamwork.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
• Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• A passion for providing excellent customer service.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
