Personal Support Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home care environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to improving the well-being of clients, especially those with disabilities, dementia, or requiring hospice care. Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring
• Prepare meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
• Support clients with dementia or cognitive impairments through companionship and engagement
• Assist with transfers and heavy lifting to ensure safety for both clients and staff
• Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
• Support clients with hospice or end-of-life care with compassion and dignity

Skills

• Experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments preferred
• Knowledge of patient care, dementia care, and hospice support
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs
• Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and professionalism
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility support
• Competence in meal preparation and medication administration
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with healthcare professionals and family members
• Flexibility to adapt to different care routines and client needs

This position is ideal for caring individuals committed to providing exceptional support and improving the quality of life for those in need. Prior experience in nursing or senior care is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidates.
