Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and equipment, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the overall safety of operations. This role requires a professional with strong driving skills, knowledge of heavy equipment, and the ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance. The Driver will play a crucial part in supporting our logistics and operational efficiency.

Duties

• Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight, heavy equipment, and other materials to designated locations.
• Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Assist with securing loads for safe transportation, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules and delivery status.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during transportation activities.
• Support warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and equipment operation.

Skills

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or other industrial machinery is preferred.
• Knowledge of freight handling, loading/unloading procedures, and safety regulations.
• Basic automotive repair skills are a plus for performing minor vehicle maintenance.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments.
