We are looking for a high-level Backend/Full-Stack developer to build the foundational infrastructure for a proprietary AI-driven health triage application. The frontend (React) is already designed; we need an expert to architect a robust, secure, and scalable backend that handles high-fidelity image processing and structured AI diagnostics.
The Project
You will be responsible for building the "Neural Protocol" engine that bridges user-captured imagery with our AI processing layer. This system must handle sensitive health data and provide real-time diagnostic telemetry back to the client.
Core Deliverables
Infrastructure: Set up a secure server environment or Python/FastAPI) and a NoSQL database (Firestore/Firebase preferred).
AI Integration: Create an API pipeline to send user-uploaded images to a Computer Vision model and return structured JSON data (Pathology mapping, severity indexing, and coordinate-based findings).
User Management: Implement HIPAA-compliant authentication and private/public data routing.
State Management: Develop a real-time sync for a multi-step "Scan & Triage" flow.
Image Handling: Secure bucket storage for high-resolution diagnostic imagery.
Tech Stack Requirements
Language: JavaScript/TypeScript ) or Python.
Database/Backend: Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions).
AI: Experience with LLM/Vision APIs (Gemini, OpenAI, or specialized Vision models).
Frontend Integration: Ability to work with an existing React/Tailwind codebase.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Health-Tech or HIPAA-regulated environments.
Experience with Image Processing or Computer Vision workflows.
Clean, documented code focused on architectural scalability.
