Über
Develop and configure API proxies, policies, and flows on Apigee Edge/Hybrid.
Implement API security policies (OAuth, JWT, API Key validation, threat protection).
Integrate backend systems (REST, SOAP, databases, SaaS applications) with Apigee.
Handle data transformation, mapping, and orchestration between multiple systems.
Ensure performance tuning, scalability, and optimization of APIs.
Set up monitoring, logging, and analytics using Apigee.
Create and maintain API documentation and developer guidelines.
Collaborate with backend, DevOps, and business teams for end-to-end delivery.
Provide support for testing, deployment, and production issues.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong hands-on experience with Google Apigee Edge / Hybrid.
Proficiency in REST APIs, SOAP services, JSON, XML, JavaScript, Java, Python (any scripting is a plus).
Solid understanding of API security standards (OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS).
Experience in API lifecycle management, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of integration patterns and enterprise middleware concepts.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred:
Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
Familiarity with API governance and best practices.
Prior Upwork or remote project experience.
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months. with 30 hours per week.
