Join our dynamic team as a full-time Outside Maintenance Technician, where you'll ensure that all aspects of the grounds and outdoor areas of Sifton-owned townhomes, common areas, and parks are well-maintained and safe, providing a pleasant environment for our tenants and the community.

• Landscaping includes grass cutting, edging, tree pruning, gardening, designing flower beds, and cultivating shrubs and flowers.
• Safely operate power equipment/tools, including lawnmowers, weed eaters, power edgers, clippers, snow blowers, and chain saws.
• General repair and maintenance of various aspects of exterior building maintenance
• Addressing resident work orders in a timely fashion
• Assisting with snow removal operations during the winter months
• Safe operation of various equipment and light-duty utility vehicles.
• Participation in Health & Safety and environmental initiatives, including completion of all assigned training, hazard awareness and use of all required personal protective and safety equipment. 

• Self-motivated and energetic, able to work well within a team environment
• Good communication skills and a positive customer service focus.
• Ability to perform physical job functions during all weather conditions.
• Experience in horticulture/gardening with knowledge of plant/tree growth habits and proper cultivation of a wide selection of flowering bulbs, shrubs, annuals, biennials, and perennial plant materials is required.
• Working knowledge of landscape maintenance/construction equipment and processes, and the ability to make minor equipment repairs.
• Experience with Kubota, trucks & RTVs is preferred, but not necessary
• Strong awareness and knowledge of the safe operation of grounds maintenance equipment and other safety protocols.
• Dependable transportation, a valid driver's license, and the ability to report for flexible work schedules.
• Obtain, or be able to obtain, Working at Heights certification.
