We're seeking an experienced Product Owner / Business Analyst to join our product team on a freelance basis. In this role, you'll act as the key liaison between stakeholders and the development team, converting business needs into precise technical requirements. You'll collaborate closely with the Project Coordinator and Technical Lead to drive the product vision, prioritize the backlog, and ensure alignment with our business goals.
Note: We are specifically looking for candidates who are native Arabic speakers. This is an essential requirement due to the need for seamless communication with our internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Vision & Strategy: Define and articulate the product vision, roadmap, and key success metrics in line with company objectives.
Requirements Gathering: Work with internal teams (limited external client interaction) to capture needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
User Story Development: Craft detailed user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria to empower the development team to deliver high-quality results.
Backlog Management: Prioritize and groom the product backlog using Agile/Scrum practices, balancing business priorities with technical feasibility.
Team Collaboration: Partner with the Project Coordinator for smooth project flow and the Technical Lead for technical validation.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate with Development, QA, and Design teams across the lifecycle to ensure on-time, high-quality deliveries.
Agile Ceremonies: Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives to promote momentum and continuous improvement.
Documentation: Produce and maintain thorough product docs, including PRDs, wireframes, process flows, and release notes.
AI Integration: Utilize AI tools to boost efficiency in documentation, requirements drafting, user story creation, and analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
2–4 years of hands-on experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar in software development.
Deep knowledge of Agile/Scrum, including running sprints and managing backlogs.
Proven ability to write clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria that developers can implement effectively.
Proficiency in tools like ClickUp, Jira, Confluence, or equivalents for project management and collaboration.
Strong analytical skills to decompose complex requirements into actionable tasks.
Experience with remote cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, Design).
Essential: Native-level Arabic speaking and writing skills, plus excellent English communication.
Familiarity with wireframing tools (e.g., Figma, Balsamiq) is a plus.
Basic understanding of technical concepts to bridge business and dev teams.
Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) for productivity in documentation and analysis.
