Services de comptabilité Manon Mailloux is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our growing accounting practice. This fully remote position is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a client-service environment and enjoys overseeing financial processes, reporting, and compliance for multiple small and medium-sized businesses.
You will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, improving workflows, and supporting business owners in making informed financial decisions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting cycles including month-end and year-end close processes
- Review bookkeeping records and financial statements for accuracy and compliance
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and budgets
- Supervise and support bookkeeping staff and junior accounting team members
- Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards and tax regulations
- Coordinate corporate and personal tax preparation processes
- Advise clients on financial performance, cash flow, and cost management
- Improve accounting procedures and internal controls
- Manage payroll oversight and government remittances (GST/QST, DAS, etc.)
- Collaborate with clients and provide professional financial guidance remotely
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA designation (completed or in progress strongly preferred)
- 4+ years of accounting or financial management experience
- Experience in a public accounting firm or accounting services environment
- Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting principles and tax requirements
- Experience preparing financial statements and reviewing bookkeeping work
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Acomba or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working in cloud-based systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines independently in a remote setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French (English an asset)

Pay: $87,129.51-$135,235.60 per year
