Position Summary
Blue Peak Property Solutions is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support our property operations in Airdrie. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the residential and commercial properties remain safe, functional, and well‑maintained at all times. This role includes completing general repairs, performing preventative maintenance, responding promptly to tenant service requests, and contributing to a clean, comfortable, and well‑presented community environment. A strong focus on customer service, professionalism, and efficiency is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, troubleshooting, carpentry, drywall, and appliance maintenance.
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Assist with vacant suite preparations, including patching, painting, repairs, and general upkeep.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Respond promptly and professionally to tenant service requests.
- Work closely with the property management team to prioritize tasks and support daily operations.
- Assist contractors or vendors as required.
- Perform general cleaning, pressure wash, trash removal and other duties as assigned.
- Possess computer skills necessary to effectively administer work order programs and building operations.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in building operations and maintenance, preferably within a multi‑residential and/ or commercial setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent customer service skills with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Participation in an on‑call rotation for after‑hours maintenance emergencies.
- Required to carry and operate a mobile device for communication and work‑order management.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
