This is a career-ladder position with potential to progress up the ranks and achieve a higher grade level.

The main duties of this role include:

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating customs or immigration laws


• Patrolling international borders and coastal waterways using various government assets such as vehicles, vessels, and aircraft


• Maintaining surveillance from covert positions to prevent illegal entry of people or contraband


• Interpreting tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry

In order to be successful in this role you must have excellent communication skills and be able to make sound judgments under pressure.
