Protect America’s Borders as a Border Patrol Agent

This exciting opportunity allows you to be part of our nation's border security efforts. As a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the American people by preventing illegal entry of noncitizens and smugglers into the country.

Border Patrol Agents work under hazardous conditions and are exposed to extreme temperatures, rough terrain, and long periods of physical activity while performing their duties.

• To detect, question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws;


• To inspect documents or possessions for evidence of citizenship or other law enforcement violations;


• Maintain surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations;
•     To prevent smuggling along with detecting violators at or near borders;

Note that these tasks may require agents to patrol different locations using various government vehicles such as cars boats etc.
