This position offers a unique chance to contribute to the nation's safety and security as part of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection team.
A Customs and Border Protection Officer is responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws, facilitating trade, conducting inspections, determining admissibility, and preventing smuggling. Officers will be asked to provide their preference for one of several mission-critical locations across the United States.
The ideal candidate possesses strong law enforcement skills, with experience in detaining violators, enforcing regulations related to importing/exporting goods,
- Utilizing intelligence techniques
Candidates must have had primary U.S. residency for at least three (3) out of five (5) years prior to application,.Additionally,Citizenship: You must be a U.S. Citizen .The age restriction may not apply if you are currently serving or have previously served in federal civilian law-enforcement positions covered by Title 5 U.S.C.,or Title 5 U.S.C.This job comes with opportunities for career progression based on performance,followed by education level training including FLETC(Glynco),you also receive an annual salary from $61k up depending on grade,
