The Border Patrol Agent role involves working at the forefront of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), responsible for safeguarding national security, preventing illegal activities, and ensuring public safety.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws and inspecting documents to determine citizenship or violations;


• Preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers at or near borders through surveillance from covert positions;


• Interpreting tracks, marks, physical evidence to identify illegal entry points;


• Maintaining farm checks, building checks traffic patrols city area transportation searches along with patrolling international boundaries coastal waterways using government assets like vehicles vessels etc., making USBP Mission accomplishment easier;
