Border Security Professional

The Border Patrol Agent is a critical role in safeguarding America's borders, preventing illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity. As part of our 60,000+ workforce, you will be responsible for detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration and custom laws. You will also inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.

You may be required to patrol the international boundary and coastal waterways using government assets such as vehicles, horses, vessels, watercraft, off-road vehicles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and motorcycles. Your work requires attention to detail and strong analytical skills to track down undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens.

General Work Experience: You must have at least one year of general work experience demonstrating your ability to take charge under pressure situations. This should include making sound decisions based on information available at hand.
