• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws
• Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations

To be successful in this position, you will need:

• Taking charge and making sound decisions under pressure
• Learning regulations, methods, and techniques through classroom training or on-the-job instruction
• Gathering concise information through questioning, observation, or examination of documents/records
  Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement (e.g., GPA 3.0+) , law enforcement/military experience for GL-9/GS-11 grade level applicants
  or relevant field study from an accredited college/university.
