Customs Enforcement Officer

This role involves protecting the nation's borders from potential threats by carrying out duties that include detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents to determine citizenship status, and performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, and transportation checks.

• You must be a U.S. citizen with primary residency in the United States for at least three years prior to applying for this position.
• A bachelor's degree or relevant work experience may be required depending on your qualification level (GL-5 or GL-7).

Duties And Responsibilities:

In this capacity you will operate surveillance systems using infrared scopes during nighttime operations along our Nation's international border which may also involve land waterways , , using federal assets like vehicles. ​
