Border Patrol Role

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of immigration and customs violations.
• Inspecting documents and possessions to verify citizenship status or identify infractions.
• Pursuing undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at the borders by utilizing covert surveillance methods.

• Suspect identification through observation, interviews, or document examination;


• Evaluation of evidence to determine citizenship status or potential law violations;


• Coordinated efforts with other agencies for successful apprehension of suspects;

other related tasks as assigned.
