Border Security Professional

The Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to serve as a Customs Officer. As part of our team, you will play a critical role in safeguarding America's borders, enforcing laws, and promoting economic prosperity.

• Enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws through inspections of individuals, conveyances, and cargo;
• Determining the admissibility of people entering the United States;
• Facilitating legitimate trade while preventing smuggling activities;

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who can effectively interact with diverse populations. A high school diploma or equivalent is required along with three years of general work experience that demonstrates your ability to deal with people.
