Job Title: Border Patrol Agent

The primary objective of this role is to protect national borders by preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws requires attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to make sound judgments under pressure.


• Maintaining surveillance from covert positions involves strategic planning, patience, and a strong understanding of terrain and environmental factors.


• To be successful in this position one needs analytical thinking skills for interpreting physical evidence such as tracks marks which may lead them to uncover hidden trails or concealed contraband.
