Our agency is seeking a skilled Border Patrol Agent to join our team in enforcing immigration laws and protecting the nation's borders.
About the Role
This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about law enforcement, have excellent communication skills, and can work well under pressure. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting patrols along the border, inspecting documents, questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, and apprehending violators when necessary.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level performing duties such as:
- Safeguarding national security by detecting and preventing cross-border smuggling activities;
- Collaborating with state or local agencies to share intelligence information on potential threats;
- Analyzing complex situations using surveillance equipment such as infrared scopes during night operations;
