We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Border Patrol Agent . As a Border Patrol Agent, you will be responsible for enforcing U.S. laws and regulations at our nation's borders.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.
• Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.

To be successful in this role, you must have one year of general work experience that demonstrates your ability to take charge, make sound decisions, maintain composure in stressful situations, learn regulations through classroom training or on-the-job instruction, gather concise information through questioning observation examination of documents records OR Education Substitution: A bachelor s degree from an accredited college university OR Combination of Experience & Education: One full year of specialized work experience that shows skills necessary such as making arrests exercising sound judgment firearms dealing effectively people courteous manner law enforcement matters analyzing rapidly prompt decisions develop maintaining network informants education substitution based superior academic achievement GPA 3.0 possible 4.0 honor society membership bachelor degree related field study graduate-level education
