The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is hiring for full-time, entry-level Law Enforcement Officer positions as a Border Patrol Agent (BPA). As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders.

• Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws


• Maintain surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations


• Interpret physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband


• Farm checks, building checks, traffic checks city patrols transportation checksmaking arrests in accordance with USBP-specific procedures using firearms when necessary dealing effectively with the public utilizing Spanish language proficiency on-the-job training provided at the Academy
