About This Opportunity
Here's a sparkling opportunity for a Production Supervisor who wants to lead a team and optimize the operation of a large supply chain. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for manufacturing products using safe and efficient procedures while supervising members of the production team. This opportunity is for our production center located in Lachine.
Evening Shift, Sunday to Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
Manage employees, including schedules, absences, staffing, training, evaluation and development, and all other aspects related to managing a production team in a unionized environment.
Support efficiency and key performance indicators.
Manage the manufacturing process including mixing, filling, and packaging.
Perform root cause analysis during equipment breakdowns or operational stoppages that result in downtime.
Verify the production line's readiness at startup.
Manage overall packaging and product quality to meet all standards and specifications regarding packaging and flavor norms, at the best production cost.
Qualifications
Hold a bachelor's degree or possess equivalent work experience.
Have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a unionized manufacturing and production environment, with at least two (2) years as a direct supervisor of a team.
Experience in cleaning and sanitation will be considered an asset.
Bilingual in French (required) and English (an asset), both spoken and written.
Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), health and safety standards, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and ISO standards.
Excellent knowledge of continuous improvement principles and methodological tools for problem-solving and leadership performance.
Possess an intermediate level of computer skills and database application usage; SAP is an asset.
