Über
We already have a fully functional and mature Windows client built in .NET/WPF/WebView2. Your task will be to replicate the same features, behavior, and user experience on MacOS.
This is not a new product from scratch — you will be working from an existing, production-ready system.
What You'll Do
Develop a native or cross-platform MacOS desktop client equivalent to our Windows version.
Recreate all major features:
Real-time notifications (SignalR)
API integration
Auto-update mechanism
Embedded web views
System tray / background behavior
Work closely with us to understand current workflows and architecture.
Ensure performance, stability, and security.
Required Skills
Strong experience with MacOS desktop development
(Swift/SwiftUI, Cocoa, Electron, MAUI, Avalonia, or similar)
Experience building production-grade desktop apps
REST API integration
WebSockets / real-time communication
Secure storage and authentication handling
Git / version control
Preferred (Bonus)
Experience porting Windows apps to Mac
Knowledge of .NET / C#
Experience with cross-platform frameworks
Experience with auto-update systems
Write ZOMBIE at the start of your application for consideration.
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months.
Mandatory skills: Desktop Application, Mac OS App Development, macOS, Application Installer, Apple Xcode
