Children's Wisconsin is seeking a
Data Engineer II
to support our Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence initiatives. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise ETL solutions that power insights across our mission-driven healthcare organization.
If you enjoy building scalable data pipelines, working with SQL Server, SSIS, Microsoft Fabric, and collaborating with teams across IT and clinical operations, this is an opportunity where your work directly impacts patient care. What You Will Do
Design, develop, and maintain ETL routines using
Microsoft SQL Server ,
SSIS ,
Microsoft Fabric , and stored procedures. Serve as an application expert and technical resource for SSIS or similar ETL tools. Build and maintain data pipelines that support Data Warehousing and BI initiatives. Perform testing, troubleshooting, and code enhancements following established frameworks and development standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data quality, master data management, and data governance efforts. Contribute to modernization initiatives within our analytics and BI environment. What You Will Need
Required: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Analytics, or equivalent work experience 3+ years of experience in ETL development Strong experience with: SQL Server SSIS or similar ETL tools Stored procedures / scripting languages
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively on complex, cross-functional projects Preferred:
Experience with Microsoft Fabric or cloud-based ETL tools Epic / healthcare data experience Knowledge of healthcare delivery systems Master's degree or related certifications Why Join Children's Wisconsin?
