This is a key role supporting the sales team and managing the customer journey from enquiry to delivery. You will act as the main point of contact for customers and internal teams, ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently
The ideal candidate will currently be a sales administrator, Customer Administrator, or has worked within an General Administration role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using Sage CRM
* Prepare and issue quotations in line with pricing structures and sales guidance
* Liaise with production, warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely fulfilment
* Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers where required
* Maintain accurate customer records, pricing and order details within the CRM system
* Monitor order progress and proactively update customers on lead times and delivery schedules
* Handle customer queries, complaints and amendments in a professional and timely manner
* Provide general administrative support to the wider commercial team
* Welcome and assist occasional walk-in customers on site
About You
* Previous experience in a Sales Administrator, Customer Support or Order Processing role
* Experience using Sage would be highly beneficial.
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Comfortable managing multiple orders and deadlines
* Confident working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
Working Hours & Benefits
* Salary: £30,000 – £33,000
* Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (full-time, office-based)
* 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
