Border Security Specialist

Border Patrol Agents play a crucial role in safeguarding America’s borders. They are part of an elite team of professionals dedicated to protecting the nation.

• Detection and questioning of individuals suspected of violating immigration laws is a key responsibility. This involves identifying individuals who may be attempting to enter the country without authorization.
• The prevention and apprehension of undocumented noncitizens at or near the border using surveillance techniques is another critical task. Border Patrol Agents use advanced methods, including tracking and analyzing physical signs, to determine illegal entry points.
• Analyzing evidence such as tracks and physical signs allows agents to identify potential weaknesses in the border security system. This information can then be used to develop strategies for strengthening security measures.

1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
