Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Border Patrol Agent to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for enforcing U.S. laws and regulations at the border.

• Fully trained agents may receive up to an additional 25% of base pay per year under the BPA Pay Reform Act of 2014 for work in targeted high-threat areas or performing duties deemed necessary by management, such as surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations.


• You will be part of a dynamic workforce that strives to protect America's borders, deter illicit activity, and enhance economic prosperity through activities including detecting people suspected of violating immigration laws inspecting documents possessions determining citizenship violations questioning suspects making arrests exercising sound judgment use firearms dealing effectively with courteous manner law enforcement matters analyzing rapidly prompt decisions developing maintaining contact network informants


• This is a career ladder position with grade level progression GL-5 GL-7 GL-9 GS-11 GS-12 upon successful completion each respective grade level where once eligible promotion next higher grade occurs without reapplying after having successfully completed fifty-two weeks time served.  ,
