Border Patrol Agent Job Description
The U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) , a federal law enforcement agency, is seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to join their team as Border Patrol Agents (BPAs) . As a BPA, you will play a vital role in protecting the American people by safeguarding our borders and deterring illicit activity.
- You will be responsible for detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
- Prominent assignments include preventing undocumented noncitizens from entering the United States; apprehending smugglers of noncitizens at or near the border; maintaining surveillance using covert positions with infrared scopes during night operations; interpreting tracks, marks, physical evidence of illegal entry;
- Farm checks, building inspections are also part of your duty within this US Federal Law Enforcement Officer position.
Mission & Responsibilities:
