About the Role:
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Border Patrol Agents. As a Border Patrol Agent, you will play a critical role in protecting America by safeguarding its borders, preventing illicit activity, and enhancing economic prosperity.
- Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws.
- Preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers at or near the borders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. This may include experience performing physical searches of detained individuals, apprehending violators of state or federal laws, or utilizing intelligence information to track illegal operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be able to make prompt decisions under pressure, analyze complex situations effectively and communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
