As a U.S. Border Patrol Agent, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the American people by deterring illicit activity and enhancing national economic prosperity.

• Detect suspicious individuals attempting to cross the border illegally and conduct thorough interviews to assess their claims of citizenship or violation of customs laws.
• Prevent undocumented noncitizens from entering or re-entering the country by patrolling along international boundaries and coastal waterways using various government assets such as vehicles, horses, vessels, ATVs, snowmobiles, motorcycles etc.
• Analyze tracks marks physical evidence left behind by unauthorized entry groups.

You are responsible for ensuring that all activities comply with federal regulations immigration & customs procedures.
Preliminary Qualifications For GL-5 Grade Level:
