Border Protection Officer

Protect America's borders and make a difference in the lives of its citizens as a Border Patrol Agent.

• Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspect documents, and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
• Prevent undocumented noncitizens from entering the country by maintaining surveillance and using various assets such as vehicles, horses, vessels, watercraft for law enforcement purposes.

The ideal candidate should have:

• A bachelor's degree or relevant work experience with sound judgment and decision-making skills; ability to learn regulations through classroom training and on-the-job instruction; excellent communication skills for dealing effectively with people.
• Citizenship: Be a U.S. Citizen.
  Maintenance of composure under stressful situations is also required.
