Customs Enforcement Officer

As a border patrol agent, you will be responsible for detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions, and preventing undocumented noncitizens from entering the country.

• A minimum one year of general work experience or a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement; OR A combination of experience and education that demonstrates your ability to take charge, make sound decisions, and maintain composure in stressful situations;


• The ability to learn regulations, methods, and techniques through classroom training or on-the-job instruction;


• The capacity to gather concise information through questioning, observation, and examination of documents and records;

• An annual base salary ranging from $49, 3939$-to-$89,$518 per year based on duty location;
