About the Role
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is hiring for entry-level positions for Law Enforcement Officer opportunities. This is an exciting chance to make a difference in your community while developing a rewarding career in law enforcement.
- Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws
- Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens at or near the borders
- Interpreting physical evidence of illegal entry, such as tracks, marks, etc., during border patrol operations
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess one year of general work experience that demonstrates their ability to take charge, maintain composure under stress conditions and learn regulations through classroom training or on-the-job instruction. A bachelor's degree may also substitute this requirement.
