Role Summary

• This role involves identifying and questioning individuals suspected of breaching immigration regulations.
• The position requires the ability to track, intercept and detain non-citizens who attempt to cross borders illegally.

Key Responsibilities:

• To identify signs of illegal entry or smuggling activities at border areas.


• To gather evidence from physical tracks, marks and other indicators to determine the routes used by undocumented immigrants or smugglers.
  The successful candidate will possess excellent observation skills as they track down leads on suspicious activity along the border area.

A strong sense of analytical thinking is required in order to analyze evidence collected during tracking exercises.
