Job Description:
- Inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations
- Detect and question people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws
- Maintain surveillance from covert positions during night operations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
The GL-5 grade level requires one year of general work experience demonstrating sound decision-making in stressful situations or equivalent education.
The GL-7 grade level demands specialized work experience with skills such as making judgments using firearms or dealing effectively with people in connection with law enforcement matters.
