1. A year of general work experience that demonstrates leadership skills, decision-making ability, and composure under stress; or
   
2. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; or
   
3. A combination of work experience and education calculated using your resume and official transcripts submitted with your application. For GL-7 grade level: You must have specialized work experience showing proficiency in law enforcement matters.  Required skills include sound judgment in firearm use,  effective communication,  rapid information analysis, and prompt decision making.
