High-End Opportunity: Lead UI/UX Designer & Custom WordPress Developer

We are seeking a dual-threat UI/UX Designer and WordPress Developer to join us for a high-impact initial project, with the intent to transition into a long-term, preferred partnership. If your workflow involves installing a pre-made theme and tweaking the colors, this is not the role for you. Zero-Theme Development: You build fully custom WordPress sites (utilizing underscores, Sage, or your own custom starter) where every line of code serves a purpose.
UI/UX Excellence: You don't just "make it pretty." You design with intent, focusing on conversion architecture, user psychology, and flawless accessibility.
Custom Feature Engineering: You can build complex, custom functionality—whether it's a proprietary booking engine, a unique API integration, or a dynamic filtered database—without leaning on "bloatware" plugins.
Mobile-First Philosophy: Your sites don't just "work" on mobile; they feel like native apps.
The "Vital Must-Haves"
Beyond technical skill, we are looking for these specific character traits:

Technical Stack Expectations
Design: Figma (preferred), Adobe XD, or Sketch.
Development: PHP, HTML5, CSS3 (Sass/PostCSS), and JavaScript (Vanilla/React/Vue).
Database/Backend: MySQL, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF Pro), and Custom Post Types.
Optimization: Mastery of caching, CDN implementation, and asset minification.
