We are looking for positive and team-oriented individuals to join our Gananoque manufacturing center to support the production department. Join our pre-wired team to make an impact by operating manual and semi-automated pre-wired electrode machine to produce disposable electrodes while ensuring quality and productivity standards are met.

Schedule:
- 12 hr shifts
- Rotating weekly - 2 weeks Day Shift 7am-7pm, and 2 weeks Night Shift 7pm-7am. (WK 1 Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat - WK 2 Sun, Wed, Thurs)
Your Contributions to the Organization:
Duties and requirements of the job include, but are not limited to:
1. Operation of semi-automated pre-wired electrode machine in a safe manner to produce disposable electrodes
- Set up machine and replenish with proper materials as required
- Perform the manual process steps as required, wire placement, wire wrap and packaging
- Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Ensure all safety guards are in place and functional
- Ensure line clearances completed accurately
- Ensure proper coding of product
- Ensure proper use of correct materials
2. Cleaning and preventative maintenance
- · Ensure clean & orderly work cell by following the 5S standards to improve overall efficiency of operations
3. Perform in-process quality assurance tests
- · Sample product as defined for the process
- Document checks on DHR as defined in work instructions and quality system
- Notify Lead Hand, Supervisor, or Quality Assurance of non-conformances
Education / Training and/or Qualifications:
- · You preferably have a High School diploma or equivalent
- You have machine maintenance skills and problem solving ability
- Your mechanical aptitude would be an asset
- You are comfortable with lifting up to 10 lbs and work in repetitive motion
- You are detail orientated and take pride in producing work with high accuracy while achieving standard goals
- You enjoy a fast paced environment and being active while working in both a sitting and standing position
- You appreciate working in team environment where clear communication and quality control are crucial
- You have the ability to work in a 24/7 environment
- You have general knowledge of an industrial/manufacturing environment
- You have some computer skills

Pay range : $ 19.00 per hour (Plus 0.84$ shift differential)
Bonus eligible : Yes. Bonus awards are not guaranteed and are determined based on individual performance, company performance, and other business factors, in accordance with the company's bonus plan.
