Resort Life
- All staff are provided with complimentary single bedroom accommodations. Complimentary wifi, cable TV and internet calling provided in each staff room.

- Shift work is required from April until October; comprised of 10-20 working days and 4 non-working working days, subject to change during peak season; employees are expected to be flexible in their scheduling to meet the needs of the business.
- Water taxi transportation is provided to and from Campbell River for scheduled work shifts
- Staff are required to leave the resort on their scheduled non-working days and are responsible for securing further transportation and accommodation thereafter.

Position Summary
The Spa Supervisor position is responsible for ensuring an exceptional spa experience is provided to each guest, by contributing to the overall daily operation of the business and by providing ongoing guidance and support to the practitioner team. This is a seasonal position, available from May through October.
Job Duties
- Assisting with team leadership, support, personal and professional development.
- Setting service providers up for success by ensuring they have the tools, support, information, and resources available to provide services at the highest level of quality
- Promoting a positive environment for customers and associates through trust, respect and caring
- Assuming the responsibilities of Spa Manager in the absence of the Spa Manager
- Create magical experiences for guests by going above and beyond
- Effectively suggest spa treatment offerings to successfully book appointments
- Enthusiastically greet and engage with each guest to build rapport
- Complete sales and payments accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide necessary reporting as requested
- Demonstrate exemplary product knowledge for spa products represented
- Promote and educate 'wellness' lifestyle and philosophy to guests and staff
- Provide guidance and instruction for equipment in fitness facility
- Accomplish cleaning tasks, as required, to maintain pristine spa environment
- Monitors all areas of spa wellness facility to be sure guest expectations are exceeded
- Inventory and Order to replenish necessary supplies and amenities as needed
- Gather, wash, dry, fold and re-stock laundry on a continual basis
- Run and participate in monthly team meetings
- Self-starting, confident and mature professional able to work well on their own
- Must have passion for providing unrivalled guest service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency with MS Office software, specifically Word, Excel, Access & PowerPoint, spa booking software, ResortSuite, Outlook
- Professional telephone etiquette/office manner
- Able to work effectively with a team or individual basis
- Trustworthy with sensitive or confidential information
- Organized with excellent follow-up capabilities
- Fantastic attention to detail
- Spa product education and proven retail success
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, combination of sitting, walking, standing for extended periods of time, bending, crouching, kneeling.
Qualifications
- Exemplary Communication and Human Resources skill set
- Comfortable with retail sales
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory role
- Experience with Microsoft word, excel and scheduling of employees
- Obtained an esthetician's diploma an asset
- Experience and training with professional make up applications an asset
- Yoga teaching diploma an asset
