Founded in 1885, the Club has evolved into a modern, multi-generational community offering exceptional dining, golf, tennis, pickleball, fitness, and more. ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Member Dining Service Lead to support the organization, coordination, and successful delivery of dining and bar service. Working closely with the Member Dining Manager and leadership team, this role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about food and beverage service and is eager to grow professionally within the hospitality industry.
This position plays a key leadership role on the floor and behind the bar, helping to train and guide team members while ensuring exceptional service standards are consistently upheld.
This is a full-time position with a schedule that includes evenings and weekends based on Club events and operational needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership in both beverage and food service operations
- Assist in coordinating food service between the kitchen and service team
- Support and lead pre-shift meetings to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Assign staff sections and assist with side duties as needed
- Oversee daily bar setups and support bartenders
- Inspect dining areas to ensure linens, setups, and overall presentation meet Club standards
- Ensure staff are properly groomed and in correct uniform; report any infractions
- Assist in training new staff on service standards and menu knowledge
- Maintain and uphold standard operating procedures and service excellence
- Engage daily with Members, addressing concerns professionally and assisting with resolution
- Ensure all safety, accident, and emergency procedures are followed
- Assign and confirm completion of opening and closing duties
- Complete closing and locking procedures according to Club policies
- Act as Supervisor or Manager on Duty (MOD) in the absence of leadership
- Attend department meetings and training sessions
- Perform additional duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Team player with strong initiative and self-direction
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm, courteous, and focused on Member needs in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized with strong prioritization skills
- Responsible and able to handle confidential information with discretion
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a private Club or high-end environment
- Knowledge of wine and spirits
- Strong understanding of Health and Safety legislation and regulations
- Smart Serve Certification (required)
- Passion for hospitality and openness to professional growth

Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour
