The Art Director plays a key role on the creative team, working closely with colleagues from other teams in the agency on a host of projects. The Art Director is responsible for the conception and developing campaigns, apps, websites, web banners, emails, as well as various communications tools for our clients.

Skills

  • Fully proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Fully proficient in Figma, XD, and email design software
  • Strong time management and task prioritization skills
  • Ability to keep up with evolving digital tools
  • Assets: experience in pharmaceutical advertising, WordPress, video editing, motion design, and print/traditional media

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of advertising agency experience
  • Portfolio of digital work
  • Interest in science
  • Bilingual (English and French), written and spoken (mainly English clients)

Main responsibilities

  • Design traditional and digital advertising campaigns
  • Design of social media campaigns
  • Overseeing UI and designing websites, apps, and emails
  • Collaborate with team members; share knowledge with others
  • Stay on top of design, web, and other industry trends
  • Prepare and present visual concepts during client pitches
