The Art Director plays a key role on the creative team, working closely with colleagues from other teams in the agency on a host of projects. The Art Director is responsible for the conception and developing campaigns, apps, websites, web banners, emails, as well as various communications tools for our clients.
Skills
- Fully proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- Fully proficient in Figma, XD, and email design software
- Strong time management and task prioritization skills
- Ability to keep up with evolving digital tools
- Assets: experience in pharmaceutical advertising, WordPress, video editing, motion design, and print/traditional media
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of advertising agency experience
- Portfolio of digital work
- Interest in science
- Bilingual (English and French), written and spoken (mainly English clients)
Main responsibilities
- Design traditional and digital advertising campaigns
- Design of social media campaigns
- Overseeing UI and designing websites, apps, and emails
- Collaborate with team members; share knowledge with others
- Stay on top of design, web, and other industry trends
- Prepare and present visual concepts during client pitches
