About the Role

Hexose Foods, a division of Olympic Wholesale Ltd., is looking for a reliable and hard-working Production Worker to join our day shift team. This hands-on position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented food manufacturing environment. You'll be involved in everything from ingredient preparation to packaging, and you'll play a key role in keeping our production process running smoothly and safely.

Key Duties/ Responsibilities

• Measure and pour ingredients into mixing machines according to standardized recipes
• Pack finished products manually into bags, boxes, or containers
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the production area in compliance with food safety standards
• Support machine and process operators as needed
• Perform daily cleaning and end-of-shift sanitization tasks
• Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, Raymond Reach/Forklifts, if certified)
• Follow all food safety and workplace health & safety procedures
• Collaborate with the Production Supervisor to meet production targets and resolve issues
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in food production, processing, or manufacturing is an asset
• Certification in forklift or Raymond Reach operation is a strong advantage
• Understanding of food safety and handling practices is preferred
• Ability to read and follow instructions and procedures in English
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is a plus

• Physically able to lift up to 40 kg (88 lbs)
• Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Fast learner with high attention to detail
• Team player with effective communication skills
