Parts Technician

Truck Zone has an opportunity for a highly motivated Parts Technician Apprentice or Journeyman to join our Lloydminster Branch location. Our new Team member would receive and process orders in person or by telephone. He/she performs a variety of clerical duties, including providing price estimates, checking inventory for product availability, providing delivery dates to customers and verifying prices. The Parts Technician prepares and maintains the sales orders, customer lists, and purchase orders with receipts, as well as providing estimates to internal and external customers. The ideal candidate is someone who is committed to safety, excellence, teamwork, providing solutions and adaptability.

Role Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• HD or Automotive parts knowledge a definite asset.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting.
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of filling out waybills and bills of landing and international shipments.
• Working knowledge of safe lifting methods.
• Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
• Computer literacy, including working skills of Excel and e-mail.
• Attention to detail in all areas of work.
• Good organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
