Siding Estimator

We are currently seeking a Siding Estimator to oversee insulation projects, manage crews, and maintain safety and quality standards.

Job Summary:

The Siding Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for residential and multi-family siding projects. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of siding systems, materials, and installation methods. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, site teams, and suppliers to support bidding, budgeting, and project planning while ensuring estimates are thorough, timely, and aligned with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely estimates for residential and multi-family siding projects
• Own the estimating process from takeoff through bid submission and follow-up
• Review drawings, specifications, and complete material takeoffs
• Price materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs
• Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and suppliers
• Respond to RFQs and follow up on submitted bids
• Maintain organized records of estimates, revisions, and awarded projects
• Assist with change orders and budget updates as required

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience as an estimator in siding, exterior cladding, or construction (preferred)
• Strong understanding of siding systems, materials, and installation methods
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Proficiency in Excel and estimating software (or willingness to learn)
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver's license

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• Site Supervisor: 1 year (preferred)
• Construction estimating: 1 year (preferred)

• Punjabi (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• driver's license (preferred)
