Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive electrical estimates by reviewing project plans, specifications, and drawings using tools like Bluebeam and HeavyBid.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to negotiate pricing, scope of work, and contract terms to secure favorable agreements.
• Develop detailed cost analyses for electrical systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and industry best practices.
• Assist in the development of project budgets, schedules, and resource planning to ensure accurate cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support construction management teams by providing accurate bid proposals, change order evaluations, and risk assessments.
• Review contracts and scope documents to ensure alignment with project requirements while identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain detailed records of estimates, pricing updates, and project documentation to support ongoing project management efforts.

Qualifications

• Proven electrical experience with a strong understanding of construction estimating, project management, and construction site operations.
• Familiarity with construction management software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam for estimating and document review.
• Knowledge of NEC standards, electrical codes, contracts, and cost control methodologies.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Hands-on construction site experience that enhances your ability to accurately assess scope and costs.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in preparing estimates and managing documentation.
• Construction estimating certification or relevant training is a plus but not required. Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
