Cloarec Management Services in conjuction with VP Counsulting is recruiting a On Site Maintinance Project Manager for Cameco on a 2/2 rotation in Northern Saskatchewan and a Mechanical Engineer and Designer on a 40 hour work week in Saskatoon.

Years of Experience:

* Intermediate (4-9yrs)

* Senior (10+yrs)

Key Responsibilities:

Field Project managers are responsible for managing non routine maintenance projects. These include; gathering information from various stakeholders to determine scope, quality, schedule, budget, working with supply chain and vendors to determine budget pricing, building project plans, schedules, and budgets, preparation of funding requests, preparation of scopes of work, coordination with engineering teams, coordination with vendors, coordination with construction and commissioning teams, monitoring and reporting project status and progress, managing project financials, managing project team performances, managing project safety and risk, and other duties as assigned.

Skills/Experience

Experience in project planning and execution

Industrial or Maintenance project experience

Both technical (engineer/technologist) and trades backgrounds will be considered

Proficient in MS Office Suite including MS project

SAP experience an asset

PMP designation an asset

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Job Summary

Cameco is seeking a skilled and driven Project Engineer to join our Technical Services team. This role is focused on the execution of sustaining capital projects, primarily at our Cigar Lake and Rabbit Lake sites, with potential support for other operations. The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary engineering efforts, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Technical Oversight

Serve as the technical lead during the design phase and primary contact for technical inquiries during construction and commissioning.

Manage engineering scope, schedule, and budget in alignment with overall project goals.

Coordinate and provide technical oversight for work carried out with external consultants; serve as engineering leader on work executed using internal resources

Engage with stakeholders across departments and site teams to align project objectives and expectations.

Coordinate and lead design reviews with site personnel and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment and feasibility.

Engineering & Design Coordination

Lead and support engineers and designers across disciplines to produce project deliverables.

Support procurement activities including tender document preparation, proposal evaluation, and post-award technical guidance.

Contribute to planning and funding requests with detailed engineering estimates and material takeoffs.

Project Execution & Monitoring

Monitor project progress and provide regular reporting on engineering activities.

Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Education & Certification

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Process, or related Engineering discipline.

Professional Engineering registered with APEGS.

Experience

4-9 years of engineering experience, preferably in industrial or mining environments.

Proven track record in managing engineering components of capital projects.

Proven experience of working a project-based environment.

Skills & Attributes

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Proficiency in engineering design and project management is an asset.

Ability to work collaboratively across teams and locations.
