Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role located in Burlington, ON, for an Elementary School Teacher. The teacher will develop and implement lesson plans that align with academic standards and foster creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration among students. Responsibilities include delivering engaging lessons, monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment. The teacher will also communicate with parents and guardians, collaborate with colleagues, participate in staff meetings, and support extracurricular activities when needed.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Curriculum Development and Elementary Education
• Proven experience in Teaching and the ability to manage a classroom effectively
• Excellent verbal and written Communication skills
• Qualifications in Education or a related field
• Certification in teaching and understanding of contemporary, inclusive teaching methods
• Passion for fostering a positive and engaging learning atmosphere for elementary students
• Experience with diverse student populations and differentiated instruction is an asset
