Pharmacy Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing
• Manage inventory levels, restocking shelves, and verifying medication supplies
• Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and offering guidance under supervision
• Prepare and label prescriptions accurately following medical terminology and pharmacy protocols
• Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and health regulations
• Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing prescriptions

Skills

• Previous hospital or pharmacy technician experience is preferred
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
• Knowledge of patient care practices within a pharmacy setting
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
