Role:

This position supports the Warehouse team with the daily tasks to ensure efficient operations in an effort to meet our business needs.

Role Responsibilities:

• Break down of pallets for Warehouse TI-HI needs for Put-away.

• Maintains an acceptable level of production and accuracy in work output.

• Work directly with Receivers on merchandise counts, errors, shorts & damages

• Work with Receivers on Warehouse shift set-up.

• Secure pallets with shrink wrap and or tape.

• Clean all temperature zoned areas of Warehouse (Freezer, Cooler & Dry Dock).

• Damage collection for vendor program.

• Perform other related duties as assigned to meet departmental objectives.

• Comply with all applicable regulations/laws and company policies, including but not limited to Food Safety Policy, SOP's & regulations, Code of Business Conduct & Ethics, Antitrust policies and regulations, etc.

Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements (About you):

• Completion of Secondary School

• Pallet jack and Forklift experience an asset

• Reliable and safety conscious, adhering to safety standards at all times

• Mid to high level of physical exertion is required. Ability to lift 41 kg (90 lbs). Standing and moving most of the time.

• Ability to work in a cold/freezer environment.

• Teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
